Tom Hank's son Chet is back with his take on, what I think is supposed to be a Jamaican accent.

Chet, who has previously come under fire for doing this accent, shared a clip after it was announced Joe Biden had beaten Donald Trump in the US Presidential election.

In the clip he says: "Guys I just want to say that now that Trump is leaving office, I think it's important to remember that he was the President, so we should show some res... psych."

At this point, he puts on the accent and starts to get a bit sweary about the lame duck president.

Sharing the video on his Instagram Chet, whose real name is Chester, wrote: "Sorry, I had to." Did you really, mate? Really?

The video has caused quite a stir online, with one person posting: "Alright just saw Chet Hanks with another Jamaican accent video, pack it up celebrating is over."

Another wrote: "I will never get over the fact that Tom Hanks' son just woke up one day and decided to have a Jamaican accent."

A third asked: "Is there an explainer on how Chet Hanks decided he was Jamaican?"

Thirty-year-old Chet has previously been accused of cultural appropriation after speaking in Jamaican Patois.

At this year's Golden Globes in January, Chet found himself going viral after he shared a clip of himself saying: "Big up, big up. The whole island massive. It's ya boy Chetena, coming straight from the Golden Globes yana what I'm saying, me finna father Tom Hanks presenting an award.

"Soon forward come. Big up, tune in!"

Attempting to defend himself last year, Chet shared a video in which he said: "Enough is enough.

"Never in a million years would I have thought me just goofing around on the red carpet would have got so much attention, but man, it's been crazy.

"One thing I'm not joking about is my love and appreciation for Jamaica, the Jamaican culture.

"That has been incredible, all the love that I've been getting from Jamaica has been really incredible, it's touched me deeply in my heart so thank you guys so much."

Adding: "I just wanted to say thank you. You know it's all in good fun.

"I'm a goofball, I goof around, but that's one thing I'm not joking about is my love for the Jamaican people, the Jamaican culture."
