DMX's manager has released a statement to say the rapper is still alive and on life support after rumours of his death began to trend on social media yesterday.
Steve Rifkind urged people to stop sharing the false stories and to allow the 50-year-old's family to 'relax'.

In a video on Instagram, Rifkind said: "Everybody, please stop with posting these rumours.
"DMX is still alive. Yes, he is on life support, but please, it's not helping anybody by having them see these false rumors.
"Let the family relax for a night. You will be hearing a statement from the family sometime tomorrow.

"I have been with DMX for the past three years, so the only thing I ask is - stop with the rumours, he is still alive and he is on life support. Thank you."
DMX, real name Earl Simmons, was hospitalised after suffering a heart attack at his home on 2 April.
In an update on 4 April, his lawyer Murray Richman was also forced to quell rumours that DMX's life support had been switched off.
He said: "I received a call this morning that Earl Simmons was in the hospital, at the White Plains Hospital, and that he had had a heart attack, and I'm not sure how it was induced and that he's on life support.
"I've spoken to the family and the family and I are quite close with each other. I am concerned about his well-being and mindful of his significance.

"I have known Earl for over 25 years and I believe that his music is quite poignant, very important. He's truly a poet of our time."
Speaking to NBC, Richman said: "Earl is a sweet guy. Earl was a person who could tell such a story. He was a person with such depth. It's a heartbreaker."
Well wishes have flooded in for the rapper from across the entertainment industry, with fellow rapper Missy Elliot posting on social media: "Prayers for DMX and his family." and actor Viola Davis sharing: "Praying for DMX."
