Duane 'The Dog' Chapman has proposed to his new girlfriend Moon Angell, as revealed in a shocking new teaser for TV show Dr. Oz.

In the preview clip, which was posted by the show's Twitter account, Dog tearfully asks Moon to marry him.

Although we don't get to see her answer, she is shown gasping and staring at Dog in shock.

It was tweeted out last night with the caption: "A marriage proposal? After weeks of family turmoil, @DogBountyHunter and Moon Angell join me to set the record straight. Airs 2/3."

We'll get to see the episode on 3 February 2020 when it airs on TV and presumably it will show her response.

Duane responded to rumours he had been dating his son's ex, saying that there will 'never be another Mrs Dog', but admitted he has been in need of companionship since his wife Beth's death in June last year.

Duane's daughter Lyssa Chapman claimed Angell was formerly in a relationship with one of Duane's sons.

Lyssa wrote on Twitter: "If someone who met your family by dating your brother, tried to date your father after your stepmom died what would you do?

"If you went to your mother's closet and saw she moved all her clothes and replaced them with her own, what would you do?

"My dad is a GROWN A** MAN. His money. His dynasty. But you can guarantee that my name is not going down in history as a person who supported this."

When one Twitter user pointed out that maybe Duane has just moved on, and that perhaps he's entitled to do so, Lyssa replied: "It's not when or why it's who."

Duane later responded to his daughter's claims, having told Radar: "Moon has been a trustworthy and loyal friend to me for over 20 years.

"She has been with my family through many ups and downs."

He added: "All my children are grown and gone on their own, there's no one left to help me!

"Moon is experienced. It's just that. Who knows what my future holds, but right now I need her.

"There will never be another Mrs Dog, but that doesn't mean I have to be so sad."
