Drake Posts Emotional Farewell To Fan And Friend Who Passed Away
The rapper posted an utterly heart-breaking message on Instagram calling Kay his friend, someone he 'loved' and once again showing how much he truly cares about his fans.
In the post he talks of how he met the young fan through the Make-A-Wish foundation, he said: "Gonna miss you a whole lot. We met through make a wish and we built a genuine bond you would text me and check on me while I was on tour and tell me positive things and share your dreams and goals."
The picture shows Drake unable to fight his tears back for the youngster and regretted missing her text on his birthday.
He said: "I am crying in this pic but it was tears of joy cause we just prayed for you with your father. I am sorry I missed your text on my birthday that's eating my soul right now but you know how much I loved you and was looking forward to seeing you after tour."

Drake went on to write about being unsure two why he was posting his message so publicly, but felt he had to pour his emotions out.
Continuing he said: "I don't know why I am writing this on IG I just need to get it out cause it's sitting heavy on my heart. Will remember you forever K!"
This isn't the only time Drake has been there for his fans - earlier this year Drake visited the 11-year-old heart transplant patient Sofia Sanchez, at Lurie's Children's Hospital of Chicago.
He'd spotted the youngster when she posted a video of herself dancing to the rapper's song 'Kiki' from her hospital room so he paid her a visit.
While there he posed for a picture with her and called her my love. In the picture Drake is grinning with the now-recovering child and posted: "Me and my love Sofia talking about Bieber and Owls and Basketball."
Back in February Drake posted on Instagram a picture of a young fan with a fracture leg - along with the photo he posted the comment: "Heal your spirit on a Sunday...Heal your leg with a Sundae" as the youngster enjoys an ice cream sundae.
He may have faced pops of controversy from time to time - who doesn't? - but it's clearly obvious Drake cares for his fans and makes emotional bonds with them.
