Instagram Influencer Wants Cut-Price Butt Lift Reversed, Saying It Looks 'Unnatural'
An Instagram influencer has said she wants to get her butt lift reversed after having it done on the cheap when she was just a teenager.
Twenty-four-year-old Sophie Elise, from Oslo in Norway, says she flew out to Turkey when she was 19 to get the cut-price surgery, but now says she regrets ever going under the knife.
Sophie claims the Turkish clinic didn't even offer her a consultation before the surgery and she is less than happy with the results.
Writing on her blog, the YouTuber explained: "I'm tired of having an a** which doesn't look natural.
"I didn't think about consistency and what I'd want to look like at 50 years old.
"Now that I'm older, I think in a completely different way and the choices I make, whether physical or mental, should be ones I can live with forever."
She said she now plans to jet out to Los Angeles to have the procedure reversed and get her natural bum back.
Sophie hopes that her experiences can serve as a 'wake up' call for anyone who is thinking of getting cosmetic surgery on the cheap.
She also revealed that she has recently had a breast reduction but said that going forward she would keep quiet about any operations or procedures.
She added: "So I have concluded not to share as much of this surgery. No before or after pictures, and no documentation of pain and the experience itself."
In a recent post on Instagram, she told fans: "Next year I will not work the same way [as] now." She explained that she would not 'share as much', adding that 2019 will be the 'end of an era'.
Brazillian butt lifts operations are offered for around £2,700 in Turkey, compared to around £4,500 - £5,000 in the UK, so many people are tempted in by the lower price, but with any surgery comes risks, and the British Association of Aesthetic Plastic Surgeons has warned that the 'Brazillian Buttock Lift' has a death rate as high as one in 3,000.
