US President Donald Trump’s Standard McDonald’s Order Is Immense

US President Donald Trump’s Standard McDonald’s Order Is Immense

Most people have a standard order when they head for McDonald's, KFC or Burger King and it appears the President of the United States is no exception.

With dozens of items on Maccie's menu, it's reported that Donald Trump enjoys 'two Big Macs, two Fillet-O-Fish, and a chocolate malted'.

Look, I'll be the first to admit that I might indulge in a hefty order on hungover days, but it would be difficult to consume that amount of food on a normal day.

The order has been detailed in a new book by former campaign aides Corey Lewandowski and David Bossie, titled Let Trump Be Trump.

In a preview published in the Washington Post, the pair write: "On Trump Force One there were four major food groups: McDonald's, Kentucky Fried Chicken, pizza and Diet Coke.

"The orchestrating and timing of Mr. Trump's meals was as important as any other aspect of his march to the presidency."

If that is correct then the president would be consuming 2,360 calories in one meal, which is nearly the total daily calorie intake for a healthy male. It's possible that, considering he's the leader of America, he might not have time for three full meals every day - but still that's a lot of food to devour in one sitting.

According to the Mirror, there's also 3,400 milligrams of sodium in President Trump's Maccies order - which is more the double what the American Heart Association's recommends each day.

It appears his diet of fast food might come down to his desire for cleanliness. It's no secret that the 71-year-old is a germaphobe and he told Anderson Cooper on CNN: "I'm a very clean person. I like cleanliness. I think you're better off going there than someplace you have no idea where the food is coming from. It's a certain standard."

Other interesting bits on information detailed in Let Trump Be Trump include him blasting Elton John tracks at ridiculously loud levels on Air Force One and having a staffer iron his suit while he's still wearing it.

The authors add that rumours of his short temper precede him: "Sooner or later, everybody who works for Donald Trump will see a side of him that makes you wonder why you took a job with him in the first place.

"His wrath is never intended as any personal offense, but sometimes it can be hard not to take it that way. The mode that he switches into when things aren't going his way can feel like an all-out assault; it'd break most hardened men and women into little pieces."

I definitely wouldn't like to be on the receiving end of a Trump rant.
