The 71-year-old Oscar winner regularly posts quotes, thoughts and drawings on his website, alongside old photos.
Bridges announced his diagnosis back in October, where he revealed he was being treated for lymphoma.
It's a type of cancer that starts in the lymphatic system after abnormal white blood cells are allowed to grow.
Writing on Instagram, he said: "As the Dude would say.. New S*** has come to light.
"I have been diagnosed with Lymphoma. Although it is a serious disease, I feel fortunate that I have a great team of doctors and the prognosis is good. I'm starting treatment and will keep you posted on my recovery.
"I'm profoundly grateful for the love and support from my family and friends. Thank you for your prayers and well wishes. And, while I have you, please remember to go vote. Because we are all in this together. Vote.org. Love, Jeff."
Since then, he has been regularly updating fans, taking his illness in his stride.
A week after he posted about his diagnosis, Bridges posted a photo where he posed with his medical equipment and thanked people for their support.
He wrote: "I want to thank you all for reaching out during this time, it feels good getting all the well wishes and love! I'll be sharing more updates on my site."
