Neil Ruddock has said his 'world is back' after using a penis pump to get his sex life back on track.

Former footballer Ruddock married Leah Newman, 38, in 2013 but said he had a 'bit of a problem' downstairs but due to an underlying health condition wasn't able to take Viagra.

Opening up to Rylan Clark-Neal on his Radio 2 show on Saturday (28 November), Razor Ruddock said: "I had a bit of a problem down with my winkie.

"So the chainsaw was not firing up as well as it should be. I am married to Miss World and so I was panicking and it was related to my heart.

"But I found this lovely company called VaxAid. When you have a bad heart you can't take that certain pill - you know the one I am talking about.

"So VaxAid have got this pump thing. You just put your little winkie in it and pump it up. My world is back. I just want to put it out there. Don't distress gentlemen."

Fair enough.

Clark-Neal, who appeared on Celebrity Big Brother with Ruddock in 2013, seemed to be taken aback with his pal's frank confession.

He joked: "Razor, I have got a lot of work at the minute, but I would like to keep my job."

He added later: "I was all right up until the pump."

To which Ruddock replied: "I wish we'd had one in the Big Brother house. Me and you would have had some fun."

The mind boggles.

Ruddock also urged other fellas facing similar problems to go and get it checked out.

"Men are embarrassed," he said.

"We ain't going to tell our mates. You are not going to go to the doctor's and tell them.

"Luckily I did and found out it was an underlying problem to my heart."

Ruddock and former model Newman married in 2013, after nine years together - Clark-Neal was in attendance and even joined the couple at the altar when it was time to exchange rings.

Speaking to Hello! at the time, Ruddock said: "Everyone was coming up saying it was the best wedding they'd ever been to - and obviously we'd have to agree."
