Tom Hanks wears many hats; whether it's acting (especially as Woody), directing or hosting a celebration honouring Joe Biden's inauguration.
But viewers of Celebrating America last night (20 January) thought any hat would do for Hanks, as he braved the elements in Washington, D.C., where temperatures hovered around zero degrees Celsius.
People watching on at home couldn't help but feel for the 64-year-old two-time Oscar-winner:
Well, they say there's no such thing as bad weather, only bad clothing. Has Hanks still not mastered the art form of dressing for the weather? Or perhaps he felt a big puffer jacket would be insufficiently dapper for the occasion?

Hopefully he enjoyed a nice big Splash in the bath afterwards anyway.
Biden has now become the 46th President of the United States, having been sworn in at the Capitol.
Addressing the nation and the world, the 78-year-old said: "A new America has risen to the challenge today. We celebrate the triumph not of a candidate, but of a cause, the cause of democracy.

"The people, the will of the people has been heard and the will of the people has been heeded.
"We've learnt again that democracy is precious. Democracy is fragile. At this hour, our friends democracy has prevailed."
