The former host was widely condemned for dismissing Meghan's revelations about experiencing suicidal thoughts, ultimately leading to his departure from the show.
Now he has taken to Twitter to double down on his comments.
Sharing a photo of Winston Churchill, he said: "On Monday, I said I didn't believe Meghan Markle in her Oprah interview. I've had time to reflect on this opinion, and I still don't.
"If you did, OK. Freedom of speech is a hill I'm happy to die on. Thanks for all the love, and hate. I'm off to spend more time with my opinions."

On Monday, the 55-year-old said he was 'sickened' by Harry and Meghan's 'trashathon' interview. In particular, he singled out Meghan for criticism, rubbishing her opening up about experiencing suicidal thoughts.
He said: "Who did you go to? What did they say to you? I'm sorry, I don't believe a word she said, Meghan Markle. I wouldn't believe it if she read me the weather report.
"The fact that she's fired up this onslaught against our Royal Family, I think is contemptible."
Mental health charity Mind subsequently released a statement highlighting how damaging it can be to dismiss such serious and sensitive matters in this way.
The statement said: "We were disappointed and concerned to see Piers Morgan's comments on not believing Meghan's experiences about suicidal thoughts today."
"It's vital that when people reach out for support or share their experiences of ill mental health that they are treated with dignity, respect and empathy."
Yesterday (Tuesday 9 March), Piers' then-colleague Alex Beresford also called him out, live on air.
He said: "I understand you don't like Meghan Markle, you've made it so clear a number of times on this programme and I understand that you had a personal relationship with Meghan Markle and she cut you off.
"But she's entitled to cut you off if she wants to - has she said anything about you since she cut you off? I don't think she has, yet you continue to trash her."
Piers promptly walked off set, with Beresford labelling his behaviour 'diabolical', and now today (Wednesday) the show is going on without him.
