Adult Film Star Jessica Jaymes Has Died

Adult film actress Jessica Jaymes reportedly died on Tuesday, according to Fox News.

The news outlet said that the LA County Coroner's office confirmed the cause of death for the star, real name Jessica Michael Redding, is not yet known. An autopsy is pending.

She last posted on Instagram just six days ago, saying: "Hey guys took a little vacation for a couple of days I love you all. Apologies and I hope everyone is having the best sex time of their life!"

The actor started apparently started performing in 2002, with her big break coming with Hustler two years later. She went on to get the magazine's 'Honey of the Year' award in 2005.

Appearing in over 200 adult films she has also appeared as herself on several episodes of the Showtime series 'Weeds'.

Before going in to acting Jaymes previously taught fourth, fifth and sixth grades in schools.

Tributes have poured in on social media for Jaymes from fans, friends and colleagues.

One Twitter user posted: "I still remember the first scene I watched of hers. It was "My First Sex teacher". The gorgeous smiling Jessica Jaymes is no more.. You'll be missed!"

Kimberly Kane wrote: "I've known Jessica Jaymessince 2004, basically my whole adult life. She was so smart, kind, creative and a bad ass! She was Hustlers first and only contract star, a true pioneer! Damn, I'm going to miss not seeing her again. Love you, Jessica."

September Reign tweeted: "Please respect this... @jessicajaymes was a close friend and this is really hard to deal with. Please refrain from unnecessary comments and let everyone that knew her personally grieve in peace."
