Post Malone Falls Off Stage At Dick Clark's NYE Celebration

Not a great start to the year

There are better ways to start the year than falling off a stage in front of a live audience and millions of people watching you on the telly.

Poor Post Malone had a shocker when part way through his performance at Dick Clark's annual New Year's Eve celebration in Times Square, he decked it and fell off stage.

The 24-year-old lost his balance and fell into the crowd, before thankfully being helped up by security. And really, what is the best way to deal with a situation like that than laugh at yourself?

Post took it on the chin, having a laugh when he was being helped back up on to the stage by his entourage, so he could carry on with the rest of his set.

He was the headliner of the annual show, which was hosted by Ryan Seacrest, and saw him sporting a very bold right pink sparkly outfit for the occasion - perfect for New Year's Eve celebrations.

Other performances came from the likes of K-Pop group BTS and singer songwriter Alanis Morrisette.

No stranger to falling off stages, he did it once before in 2015 and again in 2017. Maybe he's trying to make it his thing?

It's not all bad though. Post is now the proud owner of yet another massive tattoo, which might have made up for the fact that he fell over in front of an international audience.

What better way to ring the new year in than getting a huge menacing-looking tattoo on the side of your face?

Post Malone has added to his already full-on facial ink, filling out his impressive array with a new tattoo that depicts a hand holding a weapon. Happy New Year, guys.

The 24-year-old musician is famous for his tats and this new addition is definitely a standout piece.

His tattoo artist shared a close-up of the rapper's new ink to Instagram so you can see it in all its glory.

It was accompanied by the caption: "Last tattoo of 2019. Gauntlet on the baby boy @postmalone love u. 2020 is going to be next level. Love you all."

And then the proud owner of the new art, Post shared it himself, telling his 19.5 million followers to have a 'good ass new year'.

What a year it's been for Post already.
