According to the Metro, Shuhada means 'martyrs' or 'witnesses' in Arabic - this comes after she changed her name last year to Magda Davitt.
This is to announce that I am proud to have become a Muslim. This is the natural conclusion of any intelligent theologian's journey. All scripture study leads to Islam. Which makes all other scriptures redundant. I will be given (another) new name. It will be Shuhada'

The 51-year-old has changed her profile picture on Twitter to the slogan 'Wear A Hijab: JUST DO IT' with the Nike tick underneath.
In a follow up tweet, she posted a video of herself singing the Adhan, the Islamic call to prayer.
She wrote: "Here is my 1st attempt at singing the Azan. I got some pronouncition wrong because emotions took me from my page... but there'll be hundreds of others onstage to come ..."
In a separate tweet, she pledged: "Once I've practiced the Azan a hundred times I promise I'll sing it much better than the one I've posted."
She went on to explain that her first hijab was a gift to her from a friend, saying: "My best friend, Elaine just gave me my 1st Hijab and she got chills all over her body when I put it on.
"Not gonna post a photo because is intensely personal. And I'm an ugly old hag. But I'm a very, very, very happy old hag."
The 51-year-old confirmed in an interview with the Daily Mail earlier this week that she would be collaborating with Ronnie Wood from the Rolling Stones, Irish actor Cillian Murphy from Peaky Blinders, Pink Floyd's Nick Mason and singer Imelda May for a new EP.
The EP, 'One More Yard' is to commemorate the 100th anniversary of Armistice Day.
According to the MailOnline, the song is inspired by around 90 letters home from young Irish soldier called Lieutenant Michael Thomas Wall, who was killed at Flanders during the conflict, which ran from 1914-1918.
It also takes words from other soldiers' letters which used the phrase.
