Sir Tom Jones has claimed he's got a 12-pack.

The singer turned 80 last year but it sounds like he's been keeping himself fighting fit.

Jones is keeping fit.

Speaking to The Sun, the Welshman said: "I've got a trainer who comes to see me. A lot of stretching and boxing thrown in. It's a good cardiovascular workout.

"Just wine with dinner - a pint of beer once in a while. I try to watch my diet too.

"I've got a 12-pack. But health is very important and that's a lot of luck. You've got to take care of yourself."

It's seems like we have a choice to make then: either we have just the one pint and a 12-pack, or we can have a 12-pack of beer and one podgy gut.

On top of boxing, dieting and watching his booze intake, Jones also revealed he has another trick up his sleeve - namely hanging upside down like a bat.

Jones is keeping himself young with inversion therapy (this isn't a recent photo by the way, in case that wasn't clear).

The theory is that inversion therapy can reverse the impact of gravity and relieve pressure on the spine, helping with back problems and circulation. To do this, Sir Tom simply hooks his legs around a frame and has a hang.

He said: "In 2030 I am going to be 90 years old.

"I hang upside down. You know on one of those frames.

"It's great. You put your feet in the thing and you flip and you hang."

Last year, a ripped grandad credited his impressive physique to 'the best gym in the world' - the great outdoors.

Mike Millen has at least a six-pack at 67-years-old and is in incredible shape. Hell, I'll say it - I reckon he looks even more hench than Tom Jones.

Discussing his love of working out outdoors, he told the Daily Mail: "Training outside brings so many more benefits as we are with nature. It's not only good for our bodies but our souls and mind as well.

"Fitness is so important to me because all my life it's given me a fantastic quality of life and continues to do so every single day.

"My family think I'm strange and worry about some of the things I do but they're still quietly proud of what I am I think."
