Picasso The Dog And His Brother Saved By Animal Rescue

Picasso The Dog And His Brother Saved By Animal Rescue

Poor lopsided Picasso finally has some hope.

It's horrible when animals are mistreated.

Poor Picasso has got a lopsided face that earned him his name - after the Spanish artist's paintings of similarly lopsided people and abstract objects.

He was abandoned by a breeder because of his poor deformed face and it looked likely he was going to be put down.

He and his brother Pablo (bit of a theme going on there) were rescued by an animal shelter, but they were both on the kill list'. They were scheduled to be euthanised and put down. When animal shelters get full up, as they often do, they ave to put down some of the animals, even if they're healthy!

It's terrible and that's why people should treat animals with more respect.

The corgi/pitbull mix however is such a sweet dog.

Luckily Lovable Dog Rescue stepped in, which takes dogs on 'kill lists' at animal shelters. They were just going to take Picasso but when they realised that his brother was on the list, they couldn't split them up!

"We couldn't leave the brother behind so we said we would take him too", the centre said.

Both dogs are still puppies at only 10 months old.

The rescue centre said they were "VERY sweet and VERY goofy," and despite having a twisted face, Picasso was a "happy and healthy" dog.

I reckon it won't be long before they both have homes.
