Netflix has been throwing around the cash lately, and judging by the cast for new film The Devil All The Time, it seems the streaming service giant has no intention of stopping.

In a tweet, the lazy person's Sunday afternoon favourite revealed an impressive cast featuring the likes of Chris Evans, Tom Holland, Robert Pattinson, Bill Skarsgard, Mia Wasikowska, and Eliza Scanlen.

Yes, that's right, two Avengers in one film - now surely that represents good value for your monthly subscription.

Chris Evans is of course best-known for his role as Captain America, while 22-year-old Tom Holland plays Spider-Man in the increasingly popular Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Robert Pattinson became a household name after rising to prominence in The Twilight Saga, but don't hold that against him. He's also been in good films since, such as Good Time.

Swedish actor Bill Skarsgard played Zeitgeist in Deadpool 2, as well as featuring in Netflix horror series, Hemlock Grove.

Mia Wasikowska is best-known for her portrayal of Alice in Tim Burton's adaptation of Alice In Wonderland, while 20-year-old Eliza Scanlen received critical acclaim for her portrayal of Amma Crellin in Sharp Objects.

Details about the film are somewhat sparse, but Netflix offered a brief synopsis, describing the film as 'a midwestern gothic involving a serial killer couple, a faith-testing preacher, and a corrupt local sheriff in a story told across two decades'.

... How intriguing.

Not too much to go off there, but if you liked The Sinner then this could be for you, as the film will have the same director, Antonio Campos.

If you're finding this all very exciting, you may want to calm yourself, as it is not due to be released until next year.

In the meantime, why not get all worked up by The Irishman, a blockbuster film due to be released on Netflix this year.

The cast for The Devil All The Time seems modest by comparison, with Martin Scorsese sitting in the director's chair and presiding over a cast featuring Robert De Niro, Al Pacino, Harvey Keitel, Joe Pesci, Anna Paquin and Ray Romano.
