Aldi Is Selling A Melting Chocolate Snowman That Makes 'Perfect Hot Chocolate'
Usually a melting snowman is a pretty devastating sight - as anyone who's ever read Raymond Briggs' The Snowman will know.
But when they're made out of chocolate and stirred through milk, it turns out there's nothing to feel sad about, with shoppers saying Aldi's new Hot Chocolate Melting Snowman makes the 'perfect hot chocolate'.
The product has been released as part of Aldi's new Christmas range, and comes in milk or white hot chocolate - each shaped into a friendly little snowman who can becombined with hot milk for an indulgent treat.
What's even more magical is that each one also contains hidden marshmallows and chocolate drops inside, slowly revealed as the chocolate shell melts into the milk.
According to Instagram account New Foods UK, the melting snowman costs £1.79 for one and can be found in Aldi stores now.
A post on Instagram said: "New Hot Chocolate Melting Snowman now at @aldiuk. £1.79 each! Choose from milk or white chocolate - watch them melt to discover their hidden filling! They make the perfect hot choc!"
In the video, the user has enlisted the help of a machine to make the milk hot, pouring it out over the snowman, which is sat in a cup.
But w while it may make a tip-top hot chocolate, many people commented on the post to joke that the process wasn't exactly, ahem, dignified for the poor ol' snowman.
