Gordon Ramsay's Christmas Dinner Criticised For 'Runny Gravy'

Gordon Ramsay has had a taste of his own medicine after his roast dinner came in for a further roasting from his followers.

The chef showed off a Christmas dinner from his Bread Street Kitchen restaurant but not everyone was impressed with the festive dish.

One person wrote: "That gravy is far too thin! Not good Ramsay."

Another commented: "Gravy's a bit runny."

While a third chipped in: "No doubt that'll taste amazing but that gravy looks like p***."

Others were less than pleased with the amount of carbs on offer - with one follower asking: "Where's the pile of roasties and mash?"

Another asked: "Where's the spuds? And I don't mean two."

This isn't the first time the 54-year-old's gravy has come in for some flak from his food-loving followers online.

Last year, he shared a photo of a tradition roast dinner, writing: "Proper Sunday roast at @heddonstkitchen! And just look at that Yorkshire pudding... get the recipe."

But it didn't go down too well with his followers, with one person posting: "Gravy is way too runny. Looks garbage."

Another critic said: "Look at that gravy, it's a disgrace. Team proper thick gravy."

While a very imaginative person compared it to 'cat's p***' - delightful.

On Friday, chef Ramsay opened his new restaurant in Harrods - where dinners can get their hands on some properly fancy burgers.

And when I say, 'properly fancy burgers', I mean there's an £80 ($105 ) Wagyu Burger which consists of a beef patty, seared Wagyu sirloin, truffle Pecorino cheese, cep mayonnaise and fresh black truffle.

Also on offer is a Lobster & Shrimp Burger for £42 ($56) or you can go cheaper and get an American Burger for £21 ($28).

The burgers at Gordon Ramsay Burger don't come with sides - and a portion of fries will set you back £6 ($8).

But Ramsay reassured would-be diners they'd be getting something pretty special for their money.

He said: "I'm really excited to announce, I'm bringing the Gordon Ramsay Burger to Harrods in Knightsbridge for the first time ever.

"Trust me, this is going to be a burger experience like no other as we've really elevated our patties using the most incredible mix of the UK's best cuts of meat."
