It's just over a month till Christmas, and if you weren't feeling festive already, perhaps a trip to Greggs is in order.
From today (Monday 22 November), the bakery is selling its popular festive bakes - and if you don't eat meat or dairy you won't have to miss out either, because a new vegan alternative is now on offer too.
Announcing the exciting news, Greggs said: "Over the years the Festive Bake has got a bit lonely up there in the spotlight.

"It longed for a companion just as magnificent, just as tasty and just as festive. Many have tried but none have succeeded. That is... until now.
"Introducing, the one, the only, the VEGAN Festive Bake. Christmas is coming, and this year there's something for everyone.
"Taking inspiration from the original masterpiece, the Vegan Festive Bake has been made from delicious puff pastry, filled with savoury flavour Quorn mycoprotein pieces, sage and onion stuffing balls and vegan bacon crumb, wonderfully finished with a mouth-watering sage and cranberry sauce."

Both are priced from £1.60, and if you fancy following one up with a festive sweet treat, Greggs has got you covered.
For a quid, you can get a Christmas cake slice made from 'delicious fruit and ground almonds, topped with a layer of apricot jam, almond marzipan and white icing'.
So make sure to steer well clear of that if you're one of the many people who will never understand how anyone can like marzipan.
A simple Christmas star biscuit might be more up your street if you hate marzipan, and is 10p cheaper too.

Also 90p is the Christmas tree biscuit, which is made with crunchy ginger biscuit.
Alternatively, you can opt for a Christmas bun for 85p - 'a spongey, vanilla flavoured fairy bun, dipped in fondant icing and topped with sprinkles and a festive sugar paste decoration'.
And if you fancy forking out £1.50 to win some popularity in the office, you can pick up a six-pack of shortbread bites made with 'deliciously crumbly shortbread biscuit, topped with caramel and milk chocolate and perfectly decorated to make your afternoon tea break that bit more sparkly'.

The new offerings form the second phase of the bakery's Christmas menu, with a pigs in blankets baguette, a Christmas soup and a range of festive drinks already on offer.
