Ever eaten a Creme Egg and thought, 'the only way this could be better would be if I was also getting pissed'?

Ever downed a Jäger and thought, 'the only way this could be better would be if I was also eating a Creme Egg'?

If the answer to either or both of the above is 'YES!', then you may be excited to hear that Jägermeister has released its very own Easter egg.

Three years ago, the German liquor manufacturer teased the release of the boozy egg, but it turned out to be one big hilarious April Fools' Day josh. However, the very concept has had some people fantasising about such a creation ever since, so this time around they've quit the games and made it happen.

The eggs weigh in at 38g, two grams less than a Creme Egg, but they make up for this lack of mass with alcohol.

Obviously, you'll only be able to get them if you're over 18, though their ABV is only three percent... so if you had a binge the chocolate would probably make you sick before the booze.

You'll have to fork out a fair bit more than you would for a Creme Egg too. They're being sold as part of an Easter egg pack - which includes two of the eggs, two shot glasses and a 10cl bottle of Jäger - and they are priced at £9.99.

You'll also have to act fast if you want to get your hands on a pack. They were put on sale today (Thursday) from 10am and only 250 are up for grabs.

This is what last year's phoney egg looked like.

Tim Hawley, innovation controller at Jagermeister UK, said the eggs had been introduced for all those people who had been left 'tossing and turning' at night, thinking about the concept.

According to the Sun, he said: "The last three years we've been inundated with customers demanding the #JagerEgg, we've had everything from desperate direct messages to pleading phone calls.

"It's personally kept me up at night thinking about all those people tossing and turning, dreaming of the #JagerEgg that never was - so this is for them."

So act fast, or risk tossing and turning for another year.
