KFC Is Bringing Back Its WOW Box Next Week For Just £3.49

Good news chicken-lovers, KFC is bringing back its WOW Box next week.

The £3.49 meal for one comes complete with a fillet burger, a piece of chicken and a side of regular fries.

The box deal gives customers some pretty decent savings, because if you purchased all those items separately it'd set you back £7.27 - saving you £3.78, which is more than enough for a large drink to wash it all down with.

The WOW Box goes on sale on Monday 5 October until Sunday 15 November.

In a statement, KFC said: "We know the sorry tale... you're working from home and it's leftovers for lunch again. Last night's pesto pasta doesn't quite rock the same, does it?!

"Fear not, KFC has come to the rescue with its new WOW Box meal deal, offering fans the Original Recipe Fillet Burger, alongside one piece of hand-breaded Original Recipe chicken and regular fries - all for a very wallet-pleasing £3.49.

"This mouth-watering deal is available from Monday 5 October, right through until Sunday 15 November. So, if you fancy a lunchtime treat (or just want a break from that boring cheese and ham sarnie), simply head down to your local KFC restaurant and ask for the WOW Box deal to get in on the action."

To make way for the WOW Box KFC fans will be saying goodbye to its 80-piece popcorn chicken bucket , which is on sale until Sunday 4 October for just £5.99.

Earlier this year, the fast-food giant announced it would be dropping its age-old slogan: 'It's Finger Lickin' Good' - due to it being a very un-2020 catchphrase.

In a quest for a replacement, KFC called in some of its 'super fans' to send in their best replacements and came up with a fairly long list of winners - including 'it's make you forget about 2020 good', 'it's forking good', 'it's bucket kissin' good' and 'it's better than your grandma's good'.

But traditionalists needn't worry too much as KFC has confirmed its original slogan will be back 'when the time is right'.
