Cadbury Unveils Caramilk Hokey Pokey And Says It Could Soon Come To Australia

It's being sent to New Zealand first, so you'll have to get your Kiwi mates to send you over a block or dozen.

Cadbury really has been trying to make 2020 a little bit better.

Hot off the back of bringing back Caramilk last year, the chocolate legends gave everyone what they've been craving when they reinstated the Marble block after eight years of absence.

But, it seems like the good times continue to roll as Cadbury unveiled its latest creation:the Caramilk Hokey Pokey.

It's the Caramilk you know and love but with golden honeycomb pieces mixed throughout. But, it's our sad, sad job to inform you that this delicious block of chocolate will be served up to New Zealanders first.

After photos of the product started circulating on social media, Cadbury was forced to confirm that the new chocolate block was indeed real and was destined for Kiwis very soon.

Cadbury's marketing manager Kate Watson told news.com.au: "We're excited to confirm that we are launching Caramilk Hokey Pokey in New Zealand this year.

"The combination of Cadbury Caramilk and Hokey Pokey brings together two iconic Kiwi flavours in the one delicious Cadbury block."

To be honest, it sounds bloody delicious. But it's also a travesty that Australians won't be able to feast on blocks by the dozen any time soon. You'll just have to get your Kiwi mates to send a few boxes across the Tasman for you.

However, not all is lost. Ms Watson was kind enough to give Aussie a glimmer of hope.

"While Caramilk Hokey Pokey won't be launching in Australia this year, we'd love to hear if it's a flavour combo Aussie Caramilk fans would like to see us launch in future," Ms Watson explained.

"In the meantime, we'll have some good news to share with Cadbury Caramilk fans in Australia very soon."

Look, 2021 is only six months away so it's not like it's going to be ages until the block could be brought to our shores. We're also very intrigued as to what this extra special Caramilk news is for us. Only time will tell.
