McDonald'sMcDonald's will be handing out free McMuffins with any hot drink brought through the app next week. Wonderful.

The offer will run nationwide from Monday 9 to Friday 13 September while breakfasts are being served, according to a report in the Sun.

After using the app to purchase a hot drink, you'll be able to choose from all single McMuffins, including sausage and egg, egg and cheese, and bacon and egg.

If you don't already have it, the app is free to download and the offer is valid once per customer.

While prices vary, the cheapest hot drink you can get is a cup of tea, which costs from £1.09 and will save you around £2.69 - again, depending on the prices in your local Maccies. Not a bad deal at all, eh?

Customers will need to download the app and order a hot drink to nab their freebie.

This isn't the first time Ronald and his mates have treated us to a cheeky freebie - in the past customers could get their filthy paws on a gratis cheesy flatbread when ordering a hot drink through the app.

The breakfast menu usually finishes at 10.30am however a number of restaurants are currently enjoying a slightly later time - 11am - thanks to a successful mini-trial.

A previous trial in Portsmouth led to the fast food chain introducing the later breakfast times in 115 locations. Amazing.

The later times mean anyone using Uber Eats to order Maccies food to their homes while suffering with a hangover will now be able to order until 10.45am, instead of 10.15am - and, of course, if you're not feeling too delicate to pop in store then you can order right up until 11am.

A full list of locations offering the extended hours is available here - but sadly, it does seem as though most of them are down south, leaving us northerners to have to make do with a 10.30am finish.

Presumably, if this current phase of extended hours proves as popular as it did in Portsmouth then it will be rolled out nationwide. So to our friends in the south, you know what you have to do right?
