It's no exaggeration to say that eating fried chicken is one of the best things a person can do. Now, add a financial incentive into the mix and you've got yourself the perfect job.

Getting paid to eat KFC may sound like the stuff of greasy, battered fairy tales but for a select few lucky people it's about to become a reality.

Testers Keepers is looking for two chicken-hungry secret shoppers to eat a variety of goodies from the fast-food chain's menu, absolutely free of charge.

The catch? You'll need to fill in a short survey and be honest about your dining experience.

A pretty sweet deal if you ask us.

Successful applicants will be give £100 to spend at the chain, meaning you could take your family with you, or just not tell anyone and go to stuff your face solo. We're not here to judge.

Either way, you'll be able to enjoy all the usual bucket meals, burgers, fillets, sides, desserts and more without spending a penny of your own money.

The ad, posted on MyOffers, states: "With over 300 locations in the UK and Ireland there is a KFC on almost every high street. Testers Keepers needs two secret diners who will each get £100 to spend at KFC."

Applications close on 30 September so you'll have to act fast if you want to get your hands on the cash.

In other Kentucky Fried Chicken-related news, the fast-food chain is hitting headlines across the UK as it launches a sandwich in the UK and Ireland for the first time - the Zinger Double Down.

The sought-after snack hits branches today but will only be available for three weeks.

In the lead up to the launch, fans travelled to London from far and wide for an exclusive first taste of the burger.

The snack features two fiery-hot Zinger chicken fillets, Double Down's signature crispy bacon and melted cheese, slathered with hot salsa and pepper mayo.

A KFC spokesperson commented: "Ever since we first launched Double Down in the UK, our fans have been calling out for a Zinger edition.

"We listened.

"The fiery heat of our Zinger is iconic and one of our best-loved flavours, so we totally agreed it was a no brainer to launch this as a Double Down.

"We've stayed pretty tight lipped on our plans to go Zinger as we wanted to take our biggest fans by surprise... hopefully our insurers enjoyed the flaming counter surprise too!"
