Orange Daim Bars Have Just Arrived At Poundland

The limited edition Daim bars are three for a quid at Poundland, and people seem pretty chuffed with them.

If you're a fan of chocolate orange (Terry's or otherwise) you'd probably better start listening right now. If you're also a fan of Daim bars then you'd definitely better listen up.

You can now get the ultimate combo - Chocolate Orange Daim bars from shops like B&M bargains and Poundland. This means that you can quite easily get three of the things for a quid. Imagine, just one pound could buy you enough orange chocolate to make yourself ill.

You can also get them on Amazon for more (about £3.49) but why on Earth would you?

The bars look exactly like ordinary Daim bars, just with orange packaging because they are limited edition.

They've actually been about for a bit now, it's just that nobody had noticed - presumably everyone who goes to the sweets aisle in Poundland is either colour blind or really, really didn't want anyone else to get wind of their secret sweet stash.

An image of the mysterious chocolate bar has since been posted on the Facebook page called 'Extreme Couponing and Bargains UK' and has now been shared more than 500 times.

The secret is out, and it turns out that people are well up for them.

The popular snack reviewing blog (if such a thing exists) 'Kev's Snack Reviews' said: "Described as "Orange flavoured milk chocolate with a crunchy almond caramel centre", there's 3 x 28g bars per pack.

"They had the same chocolate orange aroma as the Daim Minis did, and I couldn't wait to get stuck in!

"They tasted glorious! Lovely, creamy, orangey, milk chocolate, with the crunchy, almond, caramel centre making them super-duper moreish.

"As much as I enjoyed the Daim Minis last year, I think this bar form is much better - it's more satisfying and feels like just the right amount in one go. Not that it didn't stop me from reaching for another bar...of course I did!

"Overall, these are some excellent chocolate bars and definitely ones for the chocolate orange fans out there. Do keep an eye out for them in Poundland; they're perfect for the festive season!"

There you have it, even Kev thinks they're great - and Kev is the kind of guy who runs his own snack blog, so he would know if they were not up to scratch.

He even gave them a 9/10 rating. Admittedly, a quick glance down his blog and you can see that of the reviews on the first page, none has a rating of less than 6/10. It seems as if the guy just likes snacks.
