But it's only being rolled out across a few stores.

As veganism becomes more popular, restaurants are trying to ensure they cater for the dietary requirements of all customers. Pizza Hut has become the latest business to add in a new feature to its menu, which is not only good for vegans but also people who are dairy-intolerant.

However, the trial will only be going into some of its restaurants so that it can gauge the public's reaction to the product.

A company spokesperson has told Plant Based News: "We can confirm that trials for a vegan cheese pizza are set to start in October. Pop down to our stores in Bluewater, Canterbury, Chatham, Crawley and Thanet to give it a go!"

Despite there being hundreds of stores across the UK and only five selected for the vegan test, people on social media are ecstatic about the news.

The news has spread and now people are hoping vegan cheese pizzas will come to their country.

Vegan cheese can be made from cashews, sesame seeds, soybeans, coconut oil, rice, almonds and other nuts, and nutritional yeast. Pizza Hut will join Ask Italian, Zizzi, and Pizza Express, which currently all offer plant-based pizzas on menus.

But the trial won't be lasting long (October 11th to November 26th), so you'll have to make sure you soak it up in case Pizza Hut doesn't roll it out across Britain. However, a company spokesperson told one user on Twitter that it was 'on the agenda' to roll out the trial to larger cities within the UK.

Pizza Hut's pizza bases are already vegan, however, people who adhere to that lifestyle should be aware that the gluten-free bases contain egg.
