People Are Truly Baffled By This ASOS Model’s Plate Of Food

Social media, as you'll know, is a total hotbed for scrutiny. Just try posting a selfie with some dirty clothes in the background, and you can be guaranteed someone will be slagging off your hygiene levels within moments.
This is arguably no truer than when a plate of food is involved - just ask anyone who's had their food featured on Rate My Plate.
This is a lesson that fashion retailer ASOS has just learned after posting a photo of a model showing off one of the site's bikinis while enjoying a nice bit of scran.
Asos posted a photo of model Sherrie Silver wearing the 'ASOS Design Recycled Tassle Bikini', with the caption: "Serving us all the summer energy we need."
But instead of admiring the white bikini, everyone found themselves drawn to what looks like a plate of baked beans, rice, noodles (?), carrots, a tomato, chips and what might be a side of crepes - not to mention the completely unidentifiable bits.

One outraged Instagram user wrote: "Nice bikini.... WHAT THE FUCK IS SHE EATING?"
Another said: "What a weird combo of food!!"
Someone else commented: "Nice bikini... interesting collection of food?!"
A fourth asked: "Is she having a roast, Chinese or breakfast?"

However, ASOS shut the haters down with one simple response: "Y'all acting like you've never been to a hotel buffet before?"
Ah, now we know the plate of food we see is one plucked straight from the many platters of a hotel buffet, suddenly everything makes sense.
I mean, if you don't have a tiny portion of literally everything on offer, are you even worthy of the almighty buffet experience?
Thankfully, some people get it.
"Taking all inclusive to a whole new level," one Instagrammer wrote.
"When the hotel's all inclusive and you just put one of everything on your plate," another quipped.
A third said: "Oh, please. Nothing that strange about the food. Looks like she's just served herself a full plate from a hotel breakfast buffet... Looks normal to me."

Someone else added: "She can eat whatever she wants! People are so judgemental."
But while everyone's been getting all hot under the collar about Sherrie's harmless plate of food, one eagle-eyed Instagrammer has been concerned about something else altogether.
"Where's her fourth left hand finger?" they asked.
Oh God, here we go again...
