Pizza Hut And KFC Are Bringing Back The Popcorn Chicken Pizza
Pizza Hut and KFC have joined forces to bring back the almighty Popcorn Chicken Pizza - which, you may remember, proved so popular when it went on sale last year that it sold out in just a matter of days.
The two fast food giants have announced the return of the limited edition special, which pairs Pizza Hut's delicious cheesy pizza with the instantly identifiable KFC combo of fried chicken, sweetcorn and gravy.
With KFC's gravy smothered over a 'Classic Crust' base, the pizza features gooey mozzarella cheese, Popcorn Chicken and sweetcorn, coming together to create a mashup you never knew you needed.
According to The Mirror, this year it's back for just four weeks and will be available online and via Pizza Hut Delivery across the UK from today (15 February) until 14 March.
Amelia Riba, Chief Brand Officer, Pizza Hut UK & Europe said: "We're so happy to be able to put the Pizza Hut's KFC Popcorn Chicken Pizza back on the Pizza Hut Delivery menu.
"It was overwhelmingly popular with customers last year, so we want to keep delivering them products they love. We hope you enjoy it as much as we do but be quick, it's not around for long!"
Hazell White, Senior Brand Manager at KFC UK & Ireland, added: "Last year feels like a long time ago, so we're really happy to be bringing this one back! Our incredible Popcorn Chicken on a pizza really does make sense and we can't wait for our fans to enjoy it all over again.
"This year, we're extra excited to offer a 2-4-1 deal on Boneless Banquets with every purchase, so there's no excuse not to get involved."

The pizza special has become something of an annual event, having gone on sale for a limited run each February for the past few years.
Launching to tie in with National Pizza Day in 2019, a KFC UK & Ireland spokesperson said: "Dreams really do come true. Pairing our signature gravy and Popcorn Chicken with Pizza Hut's famous base and toppings is a match made in heaven.
"Believe us when we say it's a thing of absolute beauty."
When it came back for more in 2020, it was available for just two weeks, but it looks like this year the pizza gods have realised we're in need of a little extra comfort for 2021 - giving us twice as long to get in on the excitement.
The Mirror reports that the hugely popoular pizza sold out in just two days last year before Pizza Hut had to restock, only to sell out once again.
So what's the lesson here? If you fancy a slice of the action, you'd better get in there pronto, just to be on the safe side.
