Let's face it - if you're struggling to afford a coffee from McDonald's, then surely there are more pressing issues than, well, coffee from McDonald's.

Regardless, a man over in Bradford was arrested after West Yorkshire Police found he had multiple sheets of fake Maccie's coffee stickers stashed in his car. You know those clear ones you get that eventually lead to a free cuppa Joe?

The stickers were discovered by officers when the unnamed man was pulled over for drug driving.

Steerside Enforcement Team tweeted about the incident, writing: "Male arrested for drug driving in @WYP_BradfordS also dealt with for a fraud offence when multiple sheets of fake @McDonaldsUK coffee stickers were found in his vehicle.

"It may seem inconsequential, but it is illegal to cheat a company like this. Just pay for your coffee!"

Unfortunately, there are no details on how the man came to own the counterfeits or, more importantly, why?

Surely if you're going to go to the effort of fraud, you'd at least get a burger and chips thrown in while you're at it.

(I'm obviously kidding and fraud is never okay no matter what the circumstances.)

In other McDonald's-related news, a woman has defied the laws of biology by somehow losing 15kg by eating Maccies three times a day.

The unnamed woman, who works for a branch of the fast food joint over in Taiwan, said she decided to go on a diet when her co-worker suggested she had 'chunky legs' (savage).

Perhaps not quite understanding the concept of a diet, she decided to embark on a culinary journey involving the delights on the McDonald's menu.

But before you start wondering if you should do the same, there is method in the madness.

The woman explained online: "I heard a colleague say that my legs were too big and yet I dared to wear a skirt, but because of you I am the person I am now. Without you, I may still be over 70 kilograms (154lb).

"I work at McDonald's and eat it three times a day. I don't touch French fries, fried chicken skin, apple pies, burger buns or sugary drinks. I only eat the burger meat, lettuce, eggs, crispy chicken wings, non-sugary drinks and peeled fried chicken."

For hydration, she stuck to water, sugar-free green tea, sugar-free black tea and Coke Zero.

With such self-restraint, the woman has gone on to lose a whopping 33 pounds - and she can say she did it all while eating nothing but junk food. Technically.
