Tesco is making all of your cheese-based dreams come true - assuming all your cheese-based dreams are buying a massive block of Cathedral City for a ridiculously low price, that is.
The gigantic 2.5kg block of cheese is on offer for £12.50, given that the supermarket usually charges a tenner for a kilo, there are serious savings to be made for cheese-lovers.
In fact, the deal means that shoppers will be saving 50 percent on the price of kilo of cheese.

For now, it looks as though the offer is only available in store, after it was spotted by a bargain hunter and shared to the Facebook group 'Latest Deals, Extreme Couponing and Bargains'.
There are some other reductions online, though, with Tesco's 500g blocks of Cathedral City on sale for £3.50 (saving you two quid).
The wonderful cheese news comes just days after Aldi launched it's halloumi burger slices, just in time for the BBQ-season.

The new slices are in stores now for a low-cost of £1.59 for four (200g). According to the packet, the slices are 'smooth and tangy' and 'perfect for grilling and barbecues'. Shut up and get in my belly.
A handy circular design makes a lot more sense than the square-slices we're used to, doesn't it? They also double as a vegetarian-friendly alternative to meat burgers. Or, you know, pile two or three on top of your beefburger, I'm not here to judge.
The bargain supermarket also announced it would be stocking halloumi fries for £1.99 a bag, because if there's one thing that can improve cheese, it's frying it.

Julie Ashfield, Joint Managing Director of Corporate Buying at Aldi UK, said: "Halloumi is very popular right now and we are delighted to be the first supermarket to bring our customers halloumi fries, a snack we think will be a big hit this summer and which isn't currently available from any other supermarkets."
You're damn right it is, Julie.
