Tesco has gone and upped its biscuit game by adding a chocolate orange-flavoured bourbon to its collection.

The Tesco Chocolate Orange Bourbon Creams are a bloody steal at only 40p for a 150g pack.

The new citrus chocs are described as: "Baked to a classic recipe with a smooth orange flavour filling. Our bakers have been baking biscuits for more than 50 years.

"Passing down their knowledge and care from generation to generation. Taking classic recipes - and making them the best they can be."

The legend that is Kev has reviewed the snack on his famous Insta - and he's undecided.

Writing on his post, Kev said: "I was super excited to see these new Bourbon Creams in @tescofood yesterday, they've already done unique flavours like Rhubarb & Custard but it seems like 2020 is the year of the orange!

"HOW MANY Chocolate Orange themed products have there been this year?! Not that I'm complaining...

"Described as "a chocolate flavoured sandwich biscuit with an orange flavour filling" these aren't quite what I expected - I thought the filling would be both chocolate AND orange flavour!

"They're certainly nice, but I did feel the Orange creme didn't blend too well with the Bourbon biscuit. It really should have been chocolate flavoured too, to give it the classic bourbon cream taste!

"So these are a mixed bag really... they're a nice change from the norm but if you're a hardcore chocolate orange fan you might be disappointed. I don't think I'd buy these again to be honest."

Well you can make your own mind up by getting them online here, or in store.

And Kev isn't wrong when he says 2020 is the year of the chocolate orange theme.

The most recent offering, after we've had Cadbury orange-flavoured Dairy Milk Giant Buttons, Twirls and Fingers, is an orange Wagon Wheel.

Burton's Biscuit Co. has launched a brand new orange flavour edition of the beloved chocolate biscuit, and it sounds like an exciting upgrade.

Tapping into our current obsession for all things chocolate orange, Wagon Wheels Orange sees the popular chocolate and marshmallow sandwich biscuit injected with 'tangy orange jam' inside - much like the Jammie version, which is raspberry flavour.

A citrus-y upgrade to a true classic.

They will be available to buy in six-packs from this month, and cost just £1 (manufacturer's suggested retail price).

Kate Needham, Burton's Biscuit Co.'s Marketing Director, said: "Not only has our well known hit of raspberry jam been swapped for a bold and tangy orange jam, but we've used real orange oil as well in the biscuit recipe to ensure the flavour is delivered in every bite.

"Significantly, orange variants over index with Wagon Wheels' core family audience who are looking for great value, satisfying snacks, with distinctive and tasty flavours."
