For those of us who don't fancy starting the day with a piece of chocolate - or can of beer - but instead crave a hunk of cheese, then I have gouda news (sorry), because the cheese advent calendar is back for 2020.
The cheese advent calendar from So Wrong It's Nom is now in its fourth year and this year contains five new cheeses.
What a time to be alive.
For the eco-conscious among us, you might be pleased to know that the 'fridge-door friendly' calendar is smaller than in previous years and is made using 81 percent less plastic, but still contains as much cheese.

Starting out back in 2017, the calendars have been a popular choice, selling out in stores and online.
Since the first one was launched, So Wrong It's Nom has sold a whopping 700,000.
Creator Annem Hobson said: "Since I first made a handmade prototype, the Cheese Advent Calendar has reached goals I could only dream of!

This time 'round, cheese-fans will have a selection of nine cheeses including spicy Mexican, which mixes bell, jalapeño and chilli peppers with British cheddar and a secret mix of Mexican spices; Applewood 12-month aged smoked cheese; and a classic red Leicester.

The So Wrong It's Nom Cheese Advent Calendars go on sale in Sainsbury's, Lidl, Waitrose, Morrisons, Ocado, Booths, and Amazon UK from early November 2020 with an RRP of £8.
