There May Be An Easier Way To Find A White Chocolate Creme Egg

If you're in the UK no doubt you've already scoured all your local shops peeling the wrappers off Cadbury Creme Eggs in search of a prize-winning white chocolate Creme Egg.

But now it turns out that there may be an easier way for you to get hold of the rare fondant-filled wonder, which people around the UK are currently hunting for like Willy Wonka's Golden Ticket.

That's because this week Cadbury are set to hold a special 'Creme Egg Camp' to celebrate Creme Eggs making their way back onto shop shelves. Not that there's ever an unacceptable time to eat a Creme Egg.

Cadbury has apparently confirmed to The Sun Online that there 'will be' white eggs hidden around the 'Creme Egg Camp'. Cheekily, though, the company wouldn't confirm how many eggs there will be - or where they'll be hidden.

According to the newspaper, the camp will be based in Old Street in London (it's always in bloody London) and will be open Thursday to Sunday for five weeks starting this Thursday 19 January.

Tickets will be available from midday today (15 January) for just £5 each from a special Eventbrite page. Around 80 people will be able to visit the camp per day, so be quick. You have to go with an adult if you're under 16 though.

If you're the sort of person who will forget to register and wants to just turn up because you're too excited, that's OK too - there will be limited spaces every day for walk-ins.

A ticket will guarantee entry to the camp plus one dish at the 'Campfire Kitchen', where you can scoff glorious dishes like Creme Egg cookies, Creme Egg toasties, Creme Egg fondue and Creme Egg hot chocolate. I'm sensing a trend here.

What's more, all of the proceeds generated from the camp will be donated to the youth charity Prince's Trust, so it's for a good cause - both for the charity and for you if you nab one of the rare eggs.

Last week Natasha Bream, a nursery manager from Luton, landed a £1,000 prize after she became the first jammy so-and-so to find a white Creme Egg.

Only 371 of the eggs are believed to be in circulation in small shops around the UK, so landing a spot at this Creme Egg camp looks like your best shot of tasting one and winning some cash.

Better set an alarm on your phone for 11.59 then.
