Wetherspoon Has Introduced Six New Cocktails, Including A Kopparberg-Based One

Although the weather is still pretty grim, Wetherspoon is thinking ahead to the summer by launching a range of new cocktails including a Kopparberg-based strawberry concoction.

The pub chain will be introducing six new cocktails, offering something for everyone with whether you're a vodka, gin or rum drinker.

The Kopparberg Strawberry Delight is made using strawberry and lime cider, gin of the same flavour and is topped with lemonade and lime.

Rum fans can enjoy a Hawaiian Pipeline Punch, which contains Captain Morgan spiced rum and Captain Morgan Tiki mixed with Monster's Pipeline Punch.

There's also four Smirnoff Vodka based cocktails: Cranberry Breeze, which mixes vodka, cranberry juice with lemonade and lime; Rhubarb Spritz, a blend of vodka, Dalston's fizzy rhubarb, lemonade and lime; a classic Moscow Mule made from vodka, Old Jamaica Ginger Beer, lemonade and lime; and Mighty Booch, which mixes vodka, Remedy kombucha, raspberry lemonade, soda and lime.

The drinks are on sale now, if you're keen to give them a try.

You can order the cocktails by the glass or the pitcher and prices will vary depending on your local branch.

To make way for the newbies, three cocktails will be pulled from the menu, so wave a fond farewell to Ultra Violet, Absolutely Cherry and Long Island Iced Tea.

Earlier this month Wetherspoon revealed its new menu, which features a carbonara pizza, a chicken and avocado burger and a bunch of brand-new vegan options including Quorn nuggets and a chocolate tart with dairy-free ice cream.

You can also order 'simple' versions of all pre-existing curries on the menu as well as a new Mangalorean roasted cauliflower and spinach curry.

The previous vegan burger has been removed and replaced with the Vegan Beyond Meat burger, which is served with chips and can be bought without or without an alcoholic beverage on the side.

There's also a small version of the American breakfast, which comes with sausages, hash browns, eggs, pancakes, bacon and maple syrup.

Sadly, much like the cocktail menu, to make room for the new items Wetherspoon has pulled the lamb shank, children's hot dog, sweet potato and chickpea curry and BBQ chicken topped chips.
