We've made it through January - the worst month of the entire year - and although it's still pretty bloody freezing outside now is the perfect time to go and grab yourself an ice cream, because McDonald's has reintroduced one of its most loved McFlurry flavours.

The Twix McFlurry is making a very welcome return to the menu giving us all a good reason to put up with brain-freeze.

The delicious treat is available now for £1.39 and features the usual soft ice-cream, chocolate-covered pieces of biscuit all finished off with a swirl of caramel sauce.

As well as the standard McFlurry, there's also a mini-version on offer for just 99p.

The frozen dessert joins the Cadbury Dairy Milk, Crunchie and Oreo version which are already on the menu at Maccies.

This isn't the only new addition to the menu over at the fast-food giant, because earlier this week meat-lovers rejoiced when it was revealed that a Big Mac with Bacon was being sold.

For just £3.09 you can get your grubby mitts on two beef patties, McDonald's special sauce, lettuce, cheese, and onions, with added bacon all inside a sesame bun. Marvellous stuff.

As well as the classic Big Mac, the fast-food chain has also brought back the Grand Mac, now available with bacon, and the Mac Junior, which can also come with added bacon.

But you're going to need to act fast if you're keen to give these a go, because they're only offer until 19 March.

And it's not just meat-eaters who are being spoilt by McDonald's, either, with the first ever Vegetarian Happy Meal being released this year.

The meal, which contains a veggie wrap with a red pesto goujons, tomato ketchup and shredded lettuce, all tucked up in a soft, toasted tortilla, costs £2.49 and sits alongside the classic Happy Meal options.

Duncan Cruttenden, menu director at McDonald's UK&I, said: "Our commitment is to offer great food, great choice and a great experience to our customers and we are constantly asking them how we can evolve and improve.

"We are really thrilled to be able to give our customers this new choice with the addition of the Spicy Vegetarian Wrap and our first Vegetarian Happy Meal."

There's also a more grown-up version of the wrap - the Spicy Veggie Wrap - and 'newly-improved' Vegetable Deluxe burger.

Anyone else feeling really, really hungry all of a sudden?
