You Can Now Get Your Hands On Cadbury's Discontinued Dream Bar

You Can Now Get Your Hands On Cadbury's Discontinued Dream Bar

It's back but it will cost you a pretty penny

It was one of those few chocolate bars that lived up to the hype and its name. The Cadbury Dream bar was a thing of beauty - the sophisticated white chocolate treat.

But then for some strange reason, bosses at the confectionery giant decided to pull the product and it disappeared into the ether, never to be seen again.

That was until today, as according to reports, chocolate lovers can now get their hands back on them. There is a god.

A pretty savvy company in South Africa, called Sanza, is selling the bars and shipping them out to customers all over the world.

However, like anything good, they don't come cheap and if you want to have that velvety choc treat in your mouth once more, you are going to have to dig deep, as a 200g bar is being flogged for £5.45 a pop.

They're back, but they will cost you a pretty penny.

But, come on, you know it's worth it.

If you're still not on the Dream hype though, you can also ease yourself in with a 50g bar which will only set you back 1.80 - a bargain if you ask me.

According to the South African company, the Dream is 'creamy, delicious, smooth, melt in your mouth, real white chocolate which contains cocoa butter'.

Never a truer word said.

But maybe you're more of a biscuit person. Well, in that case, you'll be pleased to know that according to LAD readers, the the chocolate digestive was named the world's - or our Twitter followers' - favourite biscuit.

I mean, it's no wonder really, as they're pretty great biscuits. They're sweet, without being cloying. They're a sturdy dunker. They're a classic for a reason, right? Keeping it simple and working its way into the nation's hearts/stomachs.

Naturally, not everyone was pleased with the results - with many taking to Twitter to protest against the chocolate digestive's win.

"This is a disgrace," one angry biscuit lover tweeted.

"Imagine not voting custard cream smh," another said.

A third added: "Literally the worst two possible final contenders."

The internet is a democracy, but as we know, the public is never predictable when asked to decide on a major issue.

However, sadly for the haters, the people have spoken - and whether you like it or not, the chocolate digestive is our deserving winner.

Think I'll stick with the Dream, thanks.
