Kids Feel That 'World Has Ended' After Fortnite Black Hole

Fortnite's live stream to mark the end of season 10 turned Twitter into a frenzy last night, when it suddenly turned the game into a black hole - mysteriously telling the world: "This is the end."

At any rate, the black hole is expected to be in preparation for the launch of Fortnite Chapter 2, but many fans are still panicking that their precious, and also insanely expensive, skins may have been lost in the process.

Speaking to Mirror Online, one mother Kayla Williams said: "My son is heartbroken, he's spent a massive £3,000 on this game since he started playing in season 2.

"What are Epic going to do? People saying the game has ended for good so do we get full refunds on the money we spent because no game means no nothing so we lose out!"

Another mother Sam Russ told the news outlet: "My 10-year-old saves up for the new season to come out so today very excited, couldn't wait to purchase Fortnite 10, then to be horrified, crying his heart out, lost his money, and he saves hard to buy skins.

"It's the end of the world for him as he knows it."

Of course, people on Twitter are venting similar sentiments, albeit with appropriate GIFs:

The countdown on the game's 'The End' event finally reached zero, with the rocket that was slowly being built over the course of Season 10 finally launched, flew through a rift, and proceeded to duplicate itself over and over again until the rockets managed to smash a hole in time and space right in front of the meteor which I have on good authority destroyed Dusty Depot back in Season 4's original timeline.

At the time of writing, attempting to log back into the game will bring you face to face with a black screen, with nothing but the black hole in the centre. Even the official Fortnite website and social channels are sharing the same live feed. Shout out to the 17,000 people still watching the livestream, which was still doing nothing when I just checked it.

Clearly something is going to happen at some point, but for now, you keep watching that black screen guys.
