A 56-year-old TikTok user has spectacularly hit back at trolls who say she is too old to 'dress like a teenager'. Watch her reaction:

Lonni Pike, who goes by the name Gray Hair and Tattoos, has upwards of 300,000 followers and although she promotes a body and age-positive message, there is the odd user that has to have their say.

One person recently commented on one of Lonni's videos to say: "You're too old to dress like a teenager, just sayin'."

But instead of getting upset, Lonni used the comment to further spread her message of individuality, saying that people shouldn't take any notice of anyone who tries to tell them how they should express themselves or how they should look.

Replying to the comment, she filmed herself saying: "I don't respond to comments like this one very often because truthfully I don't care what people think, but it does stop some people from dressing the way they want to.

"It puts that seed of doubt in their mind of like 'oh my god, are people going to judge me?'

"So in honour of dressing like a teenager, here is my outfit of the day.

"I have on Hello Kitty Doc Martens, cute little jeans, I have my belt and I French-tucked my t-shirt.

"So don't let people lie this stop you, wear what you want, express yourself, even if it means you look like a teenager. I take it as a compliment, thank you, have a great day - wear what you want."

In the video she shows followers what clothes she has on, inlcuding a mint green Topshop t-shirt, Levi 501s and a pair of Dr Marten boots.

Since it went up, the video has been viewed more than two million times, and people couldn't wait to heap praise on to Lonni.

One follower wrote: "Young at heart and an absolute queen!"

Another said: "I'm 50, and have been told I'm too old for graphic tees, and long hair. In my opinion, I'm too old to care what other people think."

Someone else commented: "The idea that your personality/style expires after 30/40 really baffles me. You become more yourself as you age, not less. You look so happy."

While others said that Lonni has inspired them. One fan replied: "You inspire me to not believe the nonsense or change negatively with age. You define yourself! Not ages or clothers or whatever."
