Who's had enough of January?

January is simply the grimmest month of the year; it's cold, it's dark and it's gloomy AF. Step forward Ryanair. The budget airline has announced another huge sale, giving us something to look forward to.

Prices start as low as £7.99 one way - which can get you all the way to Alghero, a small town on the coast of Sardinia. It really would be rude not to

From a limited time - until Sunday 19 January - you can book flights to destinations all over Europe, including the likes of Palma de Mallorca from £7.99, Ibiza from £12.99 and Malta from less than a tenner too.

The deal includes flights to Mallorca/Majorca - however you want to spell it.

The travel window is also very generous; you can fly any time between February and May, meaning you can book your cheap flights asap, but then save up for spends if you need to.

If you're up for a bit of a city break, you have loads to choose from, including Berlin, Germany from £12.99 - you might finally manage to get into Berghain. There are also deals to the likes of Copenhagen, Denmark from £9.99; Kraków, Poland from £14.99; and Bratislava, Slovakia from £9.99.

You can even go a bit off piste and head to Sweden for a skiing holiday (see what I did there). With flights from as low as £9.99, that Après Ski (obviously the best thing about skiing) will pay for itself.

For those of us after a bit of sun as well as a bit of culture, you can get to Barcelona for less than £10 one way. Tapas and sangria are literally a tenner away.

Barcelona is just a tenner away.

To really get the most sun for your buck, you can also jet off to Morocco, in north-west Africa, from £12.99.

The country boasts numerous luxury hotels for very reasonable prices - as well as the option to head out into the Atlas mountains on tours, or enjoy a few beach days as well as visit the famous souks (open-air markets) in Marrakech and pick yourself up a bargain.

Other places with near enough guaranteed sunshine are the Canaries - you can get there for less than £30 - a small price to pay for sunshine in February.

The flights are first come first served, and of course, you'll have to check the prices of the returns to make sure you get a decent deal. But if you're pretty flexible, you could well get yourself the perfect pick-me-up.
