Man Creates Incredible Star Wars AT-AT Walker Barbecue

A crafty fella has created this incredible Star Wars AT-AT Walker barbecue and I really, really want one. Check it out in the video below:

Alex Dodson runs Burned by Design and has made a number of impressive barbecue grills and other items over the years, but I think it's fair to say this one is a little bit special.

The grill is designed using the actual blueprints from the original Star Wars movies, which is why it looks so spot on.

On the Burned by Design website, the barbecue is described as a 'talking point' - you can say that again.

You can get your hands on the grill for £1,395 ($1,719), plus shipping, which might sound like a lot, but imagine the parties you can throw when lockdown is lifted and you bust this bad boy out.

A description for the item reads: "The AT-AT BBQ grill. The new must have for the Star Wars fanatic! Designed using original movie blueprints, the iconic AT-AT Walker has been transformed in to the ultimate BBQ! This metal beast is bound to the talking point of every gathering.

"Handcrafted in mild steel using 4mm precision cut laser profiles to capture that movie detailing. The cooking grill is approx. 25x70cm, with an additional warming rack at approx. 12x30cm. Both grills are fully removable.

"It also features a coal rack to keep the coals elevated from the base of the burner. Approx. dimensions - L120cm X W35-50cm X H100cm. Mild steel, finished with a high temperature clear lacquer."

After posting pictures of the impressive design on social media, Star Wars fans rushed to praise Alex's skills, with one person writing: "Good job! I am amazed and I love that it has so many details."

A second posted: "Today sir, you win the Internet."

While a third added: "I love the skill and craftsmanship that's gone into that."

To go alongside your AT-AT Walker barbecue, Burned by Design has a wide range or other Star Wars items on offer there's wood burners shaped like Boba Fett, R2D2, Darth Vader or the Millennium Falcon.

There's also a Game of Thrones Night King wood burner, another one shaped like one of Doctor Who's Cybermen and one designed to look like Guardians of the Galaxy's Groot. You can check them out here.
