Man Eats Entire Five Guys Menu In An Hour

Man Eats Entire Five Guys Menu In An Hour

A man managed to devour the entire Five Guys menu in an hour while raising cash for charity at the same time.

Competitive eater Kyle Gibson, from Sunderland, holds the top spot in the British Eating League and he recently put his skills to good use to raise money for a local food bank.

Twenty-two-year-old Kyle munched his way through eight burgers, four hot dogs, two portions of fries, two veggie sandwiches, a grilled cheese sandwich, a BLT, two milkshakes and a couple of refill drinks.

And while my stomach hurts from just reading that list, Kyle was able to chomp down the lot in 61 minutes - although he did admit that it was a bit of a struggle.

As well as binging on a whopping 13,000 calories, he raised £400 for Newcastle West End Foodbank and also donated £100 worth of food to the charity.

Speaking to Chronicle Live, Kyle said: "The challenge was to eat the entire menu at Five Guys and I did it. It took me just under 61 minutes and it was not easy. It was a bit of a struggle but I managed to get through it."

He added: "I love doing crazy stuff like this but I do realise that there are people out there who really can't afford food, who are in bad situations and generally need help and rely on places like food banks in order to feed their families.

"This is why I'm donating money and food to the Newcastle West End Foodbank."

When he's not cramming in calories like his life depends on it, Kyle says he keeps himself pretty fit and healthy by going to the gym and riding his bike.

He also follows a healthy diet with plenty of fruit and vegetables, explaining: "I do take part in contests like this but I make sure I keep myself healthy during the other days of the week."

Kyle shares his challenges on his Kyle V Food YouTube channel, which has more than 19,000 subscribers, as well as on his social media pages.
