Woman Who Has Spent £11k On Cosmetic Procedures Insists Beauty Comes From Within
A woman has spent a whopping £11,000 on cosmetic procedures after being picked on when she was younger, but insists that beauty comes from within.
Adelin Moeel, from Oslo, Norway, says she was teased by classmates while growing up for being 'fat and tall' but that after having boob job, a Brazilian butt lift, Botox and fillers, she finally feels confident about her body
The hairdresser weighed 18st 5lbs at her heaviest and say she was made to 'feel like an outsider'.
After battling with bulimia and anorexia Adelin saw her weight plummet, however, she now weighs a healthy 13st 5lbs.
Adelin said: "I've always been very obsessed with my look and I was always a big girl. So, I've had struggles with my weight since I was a child. When I was 18, I lost weight and I ran a lot and barely ate.
"It was very difficult, I had no friends, I always worked out and only cared about what I put in my mouth. It was a very hard time.
"I was a big girl growing up, I was fat and tall. I stuck out from the other kids in school. I felt like an outsider and the other kids were not kind about my weight. I always felt like there was something wrong with me that I needed to change.
"My eating disorder just went away after some time. I have never gotten help with it, after a while I just got tired of making myself sick, so I quit. Just like that. I was so over it. It feels fantastic to be over it. I no longer have the stress that an eating disorder brings."
Around the time she left school at 18, Adelin also became interested in Botox and fillers and she now makes sure she tops up her injections every six months.
She's also splashed out on a boob job - taking her boobs from a B to a DD - and a Brazilian butt lift, a procedure that sucks the fat from the stomach and sides and inserts it in the bum.
Adelin hasn't ruled out further surgery in the future, saying she'd like a tummy tuck and a second butt lift.
"I have filler in my lips and Botox," Adelin explains. "I've had a Brazilian butt lift where fat was taken from my inner thighs, belly, sides and put back into my butt and silicone implants in my breasts.
"I feel so much better about myself now that I've had these procedures done. But I feel like I will never be completely done with doing plastic surgery. It can be kind of addictive.
"It's made me feel better about myself because I don't have to worry about my stomach anymore and bigger boobs make me more confident because I think it looks good and I feel I look better with bigger boobs so it's helped me a lot."
Adelin says her look attracts attention from men, but she's not interested in the one who slide into her DMs.
"There are a lot of boys who try to contact me, but I'm not really interested. I think my dream now is to become top on Instagram, so I'm not really interested in those DMs.
"I love the likes and new followers on Instagram but I'm not really interested in talking with them. It's a little bit too much because they are very intense. It's a lot to keep up with. They always want to chat and they want pictures.
"I have debated making an OnlyFans account where I sell pics and talk to these men for money. I think it's a waste otherwise to talk to them without getting paid. But I'm still so small on Instagram, I will have to build my following first."
For now, Adelin lives with her folks so she can save cash for her cosmetic procedures but despite having work done herself, she insists that true beauty comes from within.
"I try to be happy with how I am now," she adds. "But I think I will do my butt again when I have the money but it's not a priority now. I try to work out and eat healthy and I'll see if I make myself happier by doing that," she said.
"It's hard because I think you will never be one hundred per cent happy no matter how much you try or how much surgery you have.
"It's more important that you're happy with your inner self and find peace with who you are. I really am happy about the procedures I've had done because they've made me feel better but I think that surgery can be addictive.
"Just know that beauty really comes from the inside and how you really shine out to others. If you think to yourself that you are beautiful then you will come out as beautiful to other people as well.
"If you want to do surgery, you should really think about it and it should not be something that you feel like you should do to live your life. Life doesn't start after surgery, it doesn't get any different really.
"Just make sure that you are doing it for yourself and to make yourself feel better and not for others."
