You Can Buy A Mini Beer Keg For Your Kitchen On Amazon

You Can Buy A Mini Beer Keg For Your Kitchen On Amazon

Picture the scene - you're sat at home on a Saturday, there's a thirst creeping on as the day passes but when you send The Text, it turns out none of your mates are up for going down the pub.

Alternatively, you're heading home from work on Friday afternoon, you've had an early finish and the sun's out... but you've got things to do and need to go straight home, somehow exerting all your will power to swerve the beer garden. In both instances you really want a pint or 12.

In all likelihood, either situation here is going to see you open a bottle or can - hey, you've earned it, probably - but then you walk through the door and there's a keg sitting nicely on the worktop. Game. Changer.

Amazon is flogging this little beauty of a beer tap for £79 ($98), meaning you too could be able to pour the perfect pint from the comfort of your own home. Close your eyes and you're almost sat next to the pool table. Actually, maybe you should buy one of those too.

Back to the booze, though - The Sub beer tap, manufactured by Krups, chills your lager to 2°C (fridge cold is 6°C) and it can keep the beer fresh for 15 days. You can fit two litres of alcohol into the tap which is the equivalent of around four pints.

The Sub serves a growing range of beers from all over the world: Heineken, Birra Moretti, Tiger and many more. And don't worry, we've already thought ahead for you - we've found you can buy a pack of five of two-litre Heineken TORP barrels for £49.20 ($61).

People are raving about the tap, with one person posting the following review: "This is great fun for a party and a nice alternative to going to the local! The TORPS holds 4 pints and chills the beer to perfection - lots of variety to choose from too - lagers, ciders, IPAs.

"It's easy to pull a pint - just check out the YouTube videos and with a little practice you'll be onto a winner. Compact size fits nicely into the kitchen as well."

Another happy customer commented: "Brilliant! Bought this for my dad as a Christmas present and it was lush. Comes out just like a pub pint, makes it far too easy to put them away... which isn't a bad thing."

I don't know about you but I for one am well and truly sold.
