Jake Paul Busted Up 'Bare-Knuckle Fighter’s Lip’ In Brutal Sparring Session

Jake Paul detached the lip of a bare knuckle fighter in preparation for a previous fight

It has emerged that Jake Paul detached the lip of a bare-knuckle boxer while preparing for his previous fight against UFC star Ben Askren.

It has emerged that 'the problem child' defeated bare knuckle boxing fighter Jake Bostwick after he recalled the incident when talking with Cene Magazine.

Bostwick said: "He was sparring with some guys in Miami not far from me and I was hearing that he was lighting some people up and giving out some really good work.

"He needed some more sparring partners and they were feeling out some guys – this was for the Ben Askren fight – so I got a couple of messages saying there was a good opportunity to come down for some sparring with Jake Paul."

“So I was down for it, but the guy said ‘Listen, the guy can box, please don’t think he can’t’.

"And this was coming from a professional coach, a guy I know.

“I was driving down there and I was nervous, it’s like an hour drive, and I was thinking ‘Oh, there’s gonna be all these cameras and all his boys, I really need to show up.

"We did three solid rounds and he caught me with some shots!

“He hit me with an uppercut and detached my top lip! He caught me with some s**t! I was like ‘What the f**k?'"

Paul and Tommy Fury have finally agreed to meet in the ring on 18 December in Tampa, Florida.

Ahead of the upcoming fight, there's been a fair amount of back and forth between the two camps, as expected, and most recently, Paul has hit out at Fury's father.

John was sentenced to 11 years in prison back in 2011 after he gauged out a man's eye. He was released in 2015 after serving four years.

Oathie Sykes was left half-blind after violence erupted at a car auction over a 12-year grudge.

The Fury patriarch, who is now banned from entering the US because of his conviction, and YouTuber clashed during the press conference ahead of the long-awaited bout, with John even squaring up to Paul, who was appearing on a TV screen.

The YouTuber poked fun at John Fury's prison sentence.

Following the presser, Paul posted a screenshot of a news report from the time of John's conviction.

He then shared a photo of a man hitchhiking in the desert, with John's face photoshopped onto his body.

The 24-year-old captioned the post: "John Fury has escaped prison."
