Aldi Australia Is Doing A 24-Bottle Wine Advent Calendar For Christmas

What a perfect way to count down to Christmas.

Aldi Australia is letting Aussies get into the silly season in a very silly way by offering up a wine advent calendar for Christmas.

While some people might like to count down the days until December 25 with chocolate or another innocent food, you could be doing it with wine.

We're certainly not advocating people to glug a bottle of wine every single day before Jesus' birthday, but if you wanted to have a little sip then Aldi's advent calendar is perfect.

The 10 kilogram box comes loaded with 24 mini bottles of red, white and rosé and will set you back $89.99.

That means you'll get eight red, eight rosé and eight white wines, which works out to be less than $4 each.

ALDI Australia Shopping Expert Kylie Warnke said: "A favourite since launching in 2018, an Aussie Christmas isn't complete without our 24 Days of Celebration!

"Filled with top quality French wines, it's the perfect way to unwind at the end of the day and countdown to Christmas!"

But if you're not a wine drinking then fear not, Aldi has two different gin calendars that contain 12 bottles filled with 50mls of the delicious liquid each.

The low cost supermarket has a bunch of other items that you'll be able to get ahead of Christmas.

Kylie added: "Our Christmas liquor Special Buys continue to delight each year.

"Our wine calendar is at the top of everyone's list while our gold medal winning Bordeaux pack is a gifting favourite, already packaged in a rustic wooden crate.

"These products are great for celebrating at home with family and friends, or given as gifts to those you've missed catching up with for cocktails. We've done the hard work, and it was our pleasure, to find only the best drops and top hops."

The Christmas alcohol Special Buys program will kick off next week on November 17.
