Australian Pet Food Company Is Looking For Dogs For Its New Commercial

Australian Pet Food Company Is Looking For Dogs For Its New Commercial

If you've ever watched a pet food commercial and thought your four-legged friend would look way better on the small screen then now is your chance.

An Australian company has announced it will be hosting auditions for their next advertisement and they want to see the best of the best.

Ivory Coat has put out the casting call for dogs and only 20 will get picked.

The team says the pooches selected for the shoot will also win a years supply of free dog food.

Your dog doesn't even have to be the most Instagrammable species either, as Ivory Coat says: "Every dog is unique, and we are celebrating just that! By including real dogs from all walks of life - from age, size, lifestyle, breed and crossbreed!"

There are some rules that you'll have to follow if you want to give your dog the best chance at winning.

First and foremost, your dog already has to like and eat Ivory Coat food.

Due to coronavirus restrictions, they are only going to be holding auditions in New South Wales, so you won't be able to travel interstate, even if your borders are open. The dog and owner will have to be available for a photoshoot in Sydney between July 17 and 19.

Your furry friend will also have to obey basic commands like 'sit' and 'stay', so all naughty or badly behaved doggos need not apply. We don't want carnage at the photoshoot with a Marley and Me-esque dog wrecking up the place.

The last condition is that your dog has a good temperament and is comfortable being around people and other dogs.

If your pooch fulfils all those categories then all you have to do is upload a recent picture that 'captures their personality and fur'. They want you to 'keep it real' in this picture so you can cancel the outrageous at-shoot that you're probably already planning.

They don't mind what breed your dog is and will be celebrating pooches of 'all ages and walks of life'.

So, what are you waiting for? Get stuck in and get your doggo famous.
