Apple's New iOS 15 Update Can Now Make Sad Songs Even Sadder
Published

People who have downloaded Apple's new operating system for smart devices are realising a small feature is making their music sound better.
iOS 15 comes with a little ambiance setting that lets the user add nature sounds like rain or the ocean, which can be played while they're listening to their favourite songs.
While it might seem like an innocuous addition to technology, people all over the world are absolutely loving it.
Many have taken to social media to suggest sad songs just got a whole lot sadder if you listen with the rain setting.
If you're wondering how to get this feature now hat you've downloaded the new iOS then follow these steps.
- Open Settings and scroll down to Accessibility
- Tap on that, then scroll to the Hearing section
- Choose Audio/Visual
- Tap on Background Sounds
- Turn on Background Sounds by tapping the on/off toggle
- Tap on Sound
- Choose from six sound options
- Tap Back
- Optionally, set the volume
- Also optionally, switch on or off Use When Media is Playing
Users can also adjust the settings via the Control Centre. You just have to add Hearing Control in the Centre and then you will be able to access it much faster.
You can get a bunch of different sounds, including 'balanced noise', 'bright noise', 'dark noise', ocean, rain and stream.
You'll have to adapt the volume with these sounds to however you want because some people might not want to drown out the sounds of their favourite songs with the delicate pitter patter of rain.
But if you are feeling like you want to stare out the window at the rain and it's not raining, then this is perfect.
