Restaurants, bakeries, pubs, bars and cafes all around Australia have set up food challenges to test people's strengths.

While it can result in some pretty gross scenes when someone doesn't finish it, it's incredible when one lucky challenger completes the test.

There are all sorts of things you can be challenged with when it comes to food, but if you have a sweet tooth then there's a doughnut with your name on it.

The 'world famous' Kenilworth Country Bakery in Queensland has a 1kg doughnut that is a whole lot of food.

There are plenty of options to choose from and they are all just as delicious as the next. There's a chocolate and strawberry ring doughnut, as well as a 'Beesting', Jam & Cream, Custard & Cream, and a Nutella & Cream sweet roll.

They range in price from $20 to $25 and it would be one hell of a sugar rush.

If you manage to complete it, you'll get your money back and also get your name on their Wall of Fame.

You have to order the doughnut on the bakery's website, pick it up and then film yourself whacking it into your gob in one sitting without help from a friend.

Once the Kenilworth Country Bakery gets your video and certifies its authenticity then you'll get your refund posted to your account.

If you're more of a savoury type person and couldn't handle he sugar overload then there's a burger challenge in New South Wales that was recently completed for the first time.

Kitchener Hotel/Facebook

James swiftly and decisively conquered the Khartoum Hotel 5kg Burger Challenge in stunning form over the weekend and walked away with the $650 prize money and bragging rights.

The bloke managed to complete the meal at the Cessnock pub in 25 minutes and 37 seconds.

What is even more ridiculous is that he had some spare room for dessert. He ordered a double serving of cheesecake to wash down his main meal.

There have been 55 people attempt it over the years and all have failed spectacularly. James will be the first to have his name etched on the pub's legends board.
