Australia's Sam Kerr has absolutely decked a pitch invader during an English Champions League match.

The Chelsea star striker didn't take kindly to the random bloke walking onto the pitch during the final stages of their match.

The man calmly strolled onto the grounds while the footballers were trying to play and even pulled out his phone to snap a few pictures of his antics.

While he might have thought he was going to get a free pass to wander around while the athletes were trying to play, Sam Kerr stepped out.

As he was trotting off, the Aussie footballer dropped in a shoulder that sent the invader flying to the ground.

Incredibly, Kerr ended up getting a yellow card for it.

While she was reprimanded for putting the pitch invader in his place, the internet went wild for her flooring the guy.

Kerr was called a goddamn legend and a contender for Australian of the Year for her efforts.

People also raised an important question of why the guy was allowed to wander a Champions League match without much bother.

If that was a male game, security staff would be on a pitch invader in seconds.

The fact that he was able to just wander around the grounds saw loads of fans concerned for the safety of female footballers.

Either way, Sam Kerr is a blessing for stopping that bloke in his tracks.
