A British auto shop has gone viral for its incredible and unlikely creation.

While there are many people on the planet who wouldn't mess with the chassis of a Bentley, DC Customs has gone above and beyond to create a new worksite vehicle for the uber wealthy.

Introducing the 'Decadence' which is half Bentley, half ute.

It took the team at DC Customs 18 months to whip up this bad boy and it looks like it was worth every second.

They've morphed a 2005 Bentley Continental Flying Spur to have a sleek and slick wooden-finish utility tray at the back while keeping the deluxe-looking front exterior.

To get this idea from the drawing board and into reality, the team had to weld the rear doors welded shut and shorten the roof before they could secure the timber-lined metal-framed tray.

DC Customs wrote on Instagram: "The Bentley Flying Spur pickup left us today after one of the biggest builds and biggest challenges to date.

"A lot of people thought we were mad cutting up a Flying Spur, probably right (lol), and thought it just wouldn't look good. But personally, I think we nailed it - and must admit I'm proud of this one!

"Lots more work than we thought it would be, but that's all part of the fun. It's been a hard build and at times I wondered if I should have said no to the job, but so glad and thankful for it now."

It's not know how much this Frankenstein's monster cost but when you're doing anything to a Bentley it will no doubt set you back a lot of cash.

Since it was debuted on Instagram, people have been shocked, dismayed, overwhelmed and thrilled to see such an iconic car get transformed into something else entirely.

One person wrote: "This is art!!! Stunning job guys."

Another added: "Excellent job looks like it came from the factory made that way."

A third said: "Love the result of this pickup Bentley. Probably not so in love with how the tailgate is held with steel cables on either side."

It's certainly a divisive look but surely a head turner when you're driving down the street, rocking up to a country races or heading to the worksite to flex your guns.
